A very pretty Barr, Flight and Barr porcelain London shape tea cup and saucer with a striking turquoise ground and ornate gilt frieze with gilded rims and handle. Impressed marks to both, c.1812.

The cup measures 5.5cm (2 1/8") high to the rim and 8.7cm (3 3/8") rim to rim. the saucer measures 14.3cm (5 5/8") wide and 2.6cm (1").

Condition is very good with no damage or repair. A bit of gilt wear to the rim of the saucer and a very small amount to the gilt in the centre of the saucer. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
