Beautiful BURMANTOFTS Art Pottery Jardiniere


A gorgeous large BURMANTOFTS Art Pottery Jardiniere produced between 1882 and 1904, featuring bold yellow-gold stylised flowers with green foliage on a deep blue background. Additional vivid turquoise panels.
Wonderful Burmantofts faience glaze bringing these vibrant colours to life.
Generally in very good condition, tight star hairline in base (not visible when displayed) and just a couple of very small areas of glaze loss (2-3 mm), barely noticeable mentioned only for completeness.
Fully marked to base with Burmantofts Faience England, design no 2155, and initials 'JL'.
Height ~280mm. diameter ~365mm max
Collection or delivery by arrangement for fuel cost preferred. (Not keen to ship due to fragile nature but buyer can also arrange for their courier to collect). Satisfaction Guarantee & Returns Policy.
