Beautiful Georgian Oak High Back Antique Settle
Beautiful Georgian Oak High Back Antique Settle.
This is a fabulous and very original 18th century hgh back antique oak settle.
Dating from around 1770 and from the Welsh/England borders around Shropshire.
The oak back board extend down to floor level, this is to stop draughts going up one's trouser legs!
A beautiful colour and wonderful patina, very well made with a deep angled rake to the back making it more comfy and less upright.
In very, very good condition throughout, a lovely period oak antique settle, now in Miles Griffiths antiques showrooms.
