Stunning Rare Green Glazed Al Mohades Water Jar 1900 or earlier

This is a very attractive and beautifully proportioned green glazed two handled pottery jar. It would have been kept in a bed room for access to drinking water overnight. The deep, rich green glaze is truly delightful inside and out. The colour, size and shape is typical of the Al Mohades pottery of the 12th- 13th Century. This is a revival period piece and is guaranteed to be at least 100 years old, possibly much older.

Please note that there is some age related wear and tear, however this is part of the history of this artefact and it is intact without repairs or damage.
