Beautiful Small 19thC Welsh Pine Box Settle
A beautiful mid 19thC Welsh pine and ash box settle of the most wonderful small proportions from the town of Knighton in Montgomeryshire Powys c1840. This special little settle has the most gorgeous grain and warm colour. It has clearly been well cared for throughout its life and is in lovely condition, the apron around the base being a historic addition.
With a very generous seat height it is really comfortable with perfect proportions. Lovely and sturdy and standing level and true.
A quality country piece with a desirable ash wood frame this is the smallest settle we have had for years, a very special piece perfect for the space you have been wanting to fill.
Length 100cm. Height 101cm. Seat height 46cm. Seat depth 38cm. Overall depth 44cm
