Here we have a wonderful George IV Elm country house shoe box bench c1820. As you can see the chest has great colour and patina. There are fantastic single Elm planks to the front back top with cross planks to the base. The whole has been framed by further pieces of timber which create fielded panels. There are original hand forged strap hinges to the inside. This chest would make the perfect shoe box or window seat with plenty of storage. A super country house piece in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are 186 cm long 57 cm deep 45 cm high.
