Biedermeier Flamed Mahogany Press Tallboy C1860
Antique Biedermeier Flamed Mahogany Press/Tallboy and dating from around 1860. Constructed from quality flamed mahogany it has a polished top with a moulded cornice. Below are two doors both of which have a shaped and moulded panel and mahogany lock escutcheon with a carved corbel to the top and bottom of the door divider. Internally are five drawers all of which are oak lined. Each side of the cupboard has a canted edge with a carved corbel to the top and bottom. It stands on shaped bracket feet joined by a shaped frieze.
Measures 61" high x 22" deep x 18" internal depth x 45.5" wide
In very good original condition with a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our antique furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
