Gorgeous little early 19th.c. Biedermeier mahogany wardrobe or linen press c.1830. Useful narrow dimensions, ideal as a hall piece perhaps. Single door wardrobe with long dressing mirror to the door and fitted inside with two adjustable shelves (depth 14″), over two useful drawers in the base. A particularly good looking example of the form with beautifully figured flame mahogany veneers laid in a symmetrical pattern across the front. Tall shaped cornice, crisp cushion mouldings around the door, and a tall ogee plinth. Oak interior, shelves, backboards and drawer linings. Superb colour and condition, original locks and key. Cleaned and polished in our workshops.
