An 18th Century Bilston Enamel Patch Box, the Lid finely decorated on White Ground with White 'Jewelling' and fine Gilt detail. Rare and unusual Detail for such a Box. The Base is Royal Blue. White Enamel interval with original Mirror (a/f)Overall condition is Exceptional as historically these early Bilston Boxes do not survive well.c.1780/90 I am listed as a Private Dealer but some of my Stock can be viewed at The Antique Shop, 53, High Street Heathfield E.Sussex.If you wish, I am am able meet you there to discuss any items and also bring along any items which are not on Antiques Atlas but not displayed in the Shop.
