Charming Edwardian era French tapestry top footstool or pouffe with original tapestry top c.1910. Sprung seat with a beautiful tapestry and embroidered cover featuring a bird of paradise, with its distinctive coiled tail feathers, amongst exotic foliage. Original rope twist braid and foot-long tassel trim with a green silk lining fabric below. Original brass castors with wooden wheels.
