Large early 19th.c. mahogany bow front chest of drawers c.1820. Top with a slim applied moulding over a crossbanded frieze, continued on the side. Two short and two long drawers of graduated depth. Cockbeaded drawer fronts with bone escutcheons and later brass handles with unusual three feathers detail to the back plates. Oak drawer linings. Shaped and crossbanded apron and feet. Some old wear and repairs to the veneers, generally very good condition and attractive mellow colour. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
