Chest of Drawers - Two Piece - c1820
A pleasing bow fronted chest dating from c1820 and offering a useful two piece construction and therefore suitable for locations where access may be an issue.
This attractive chest of drawers are presented in lovely order with the mahogany having mellowed producing a charming lightness to the colour of the piece.
Riding upon splayed feet and displaying a very desirable serpentine sculpted skirt the piece offers classic proportions. At the base additional interest is provided with boxwood and ebony tram-line stringing detail.
The drawer layout is 2 over 3 making the piece very practical.
