A splendid Edwardian carved wooden chess set complete with wooden storage box, having been professionally re-polished.

The black pieces are a combination of turned Ebony and Ebonised Boxwood and the white pieces created from turned and carved Boxwood. They are slightly weighted and a really good size to play with, the king measuring 3" tall.

Excellent condition with a good patina, minor wear commensurate with age with the storage box measuring 8 x 4 1/2" x 3 1/2".
