Brass Bound Camphor Wood Kist

Circa 1880. A neat sized camphor wood chest. The rectangular top with brass quarter bindings and heraldic shield in the centre engraved 'ELP'. To the front there is a flush military style lifting handle which opens to reveal an uninterrupted interior. There are two cast lifting handles on the sides, further brass banding on all sides, heraldic shaped escutcheon and the whole piece sits on four low block feet. Would make a great coffee table.
