handsome camphor wood trunk with brass bindings, campaign style recessed brass handle to the front and substantial brass carrying handles to the sides, the lid with brass cartouche opening to very clean interior with the wonderfully distinctive camphor aroma.
normal marks and scuffs commensurate with age and one brass corner binding missing which really doesn't detract from the piece at all, overall this super chest is in good condition.
