British Other Ranks Watercanteen dated 1862. A very good and rare example retaining most of the original blue painted finish and with clear Board of Ordnance issue stamps and date 1862. Also stamped with a makers name of D. Bradford. Sling appears to be later. Stopper now absent. Some wear but in good, sound condition overall. This pattern of canteen is similar to the pattern carried at the Battle of Waterloo and carried by the British Soldier until the 1860's.

Approximately 17.5cm in diameter and 10cm deep.
