Bureau Slide Front Leather Table Mahogany Desk

Lift Front Slide Bureau Desk - Quality Example - Sheraton Styling
This mahogany writing desk bureau is a beautiful example with a gorgeous design presented in superb condition.
The bureau is crafted by the renown Jaycee of England.
When closed the piece performs well as a side, study or hallway table, and the classic Sheraton lines with spade foot and taper leg deliver a fine looking item of antique furniture. The upper surface displays a cross-banded perimeter with boxwood stringing.
A fall front opens to reveal a quality fitted interior with cubbies, letter slots and twin drawers. As the fall flap rises the writing surface extends forward creating a good size writing area. With a quality tooled and gilt embossed leather skiver this desk offers both style and practicality in abundance.
The desk displays excellently from all angles and features a central motif hand-carved with floral detail.
The generous knee height allows for any type of chair to be used.
A quality original lock is present. This is fully functioning and is complete with the original key.
Overall this piece of antique furniture is in exceptional condition.
