Burr Walnut Bank of Drawers c.1930
Unusual French burr walnut and marble top bank of drawers or semainier c.1930. Useful narrow dimensions, just 28½" wide. 26" x 15" pale marble top over seven drawers (width 23" , height 13"), the top drawer being slightly slimmer than the others. Highly figured burr walnut veneers to the chamfered frieze below the marble and to the drawer fronts which all retain their original gilded metal handles. Burr walnut panels at the sides. With a moulded plinth a short tapering legs. Mahogany carcass and oak drawer linings. Very good colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
