Burr Walnut Queen Anne Style Writing Table
A very elegant burr walnut Queen Anne style writing table / dressing table of excellent proportions, raised on beautifully shaped cabriole legs with finely carved knees terminating in pad feet. The serpentine front gives the piece a refined flowing outline, complemented by a richly figured burr walnut veneered top displaying striking symmetrical grain and rich warm colour throughout.
The table is fitted with three drawers, including two shaped side drawers flanking a central long drawer, all retaining attractive brass drop handles. The drawers run smoothly and offer practical storage while preserving the graceful appearance of the piece.
Particularly well executed, the elegant cabriole legs feature finely carved detailing to the knees, adding depth and character to the design.
