A lovely serpentine fronted burr walnut writing table in the queen Anne style , well made in walnut with attractive burr walnut veneers. The top is fitted with a sumptuous 3 piece green leather writing surface, complete with gilt and blind tooled decoration. There is an arrangement of one long central drawer, flanked by 2 pairs of shorter, graduated drawers, All drawers are fitted with their original brass swan-neck handles. The whole table stands on elegant cabriole legs with carved decorations to the knees, It is finished to the rear so could be free-standing with a room if desired. We have had this table sympathetically replolished to a very high standard and it is now offered for sale in excellent overall condition with a great colour and patina.
