c1745 Meissen Ornithological plate featuring Old Ozier Relief Rim with a hand painted bird & insect study. Pressnummer '61'. Gilding to the edge is rubbed, there is a little paint wear and small chips to the foot rim. A similar study (of Pressnummer '61') sold at Christie's in July 2007 for £1,900 including commission (see picture).
