C18th Oak Panelled Coffer
Good c18th oak panelled coffer or blanket chest.
Well carved panels and has its original interior and bottom, also original strap hinges too.
There has been an alteration to the lock as you can see, but other than this, it is in good original condition.
Useful pieces of antique furniture, whether purely for decor or to give you storage space as a hall piece perhaps.
Measuring:
21 3/4” or 55cm high
46 3/4” or 119cm wide
20 3/4” or 53cm deep Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
