C 1920s French Crib/Cradle Protector Plaque Stand
in the form of a round metal (possibly silver) plaque depicting a Raphael angel image (from Madonna di San Sisto) on an alabaster stand.
The plaque is signed E.Dropsy (famous French engraver and medalist (1848-1923)) and also has a tiny worn off mark which looks like a French silver Minerva mark.
Great antique condition.
Ideal Christening gift. Listed items are usually available to view at the Red House Antiques Centre in York.
