Here we have a wonderful very rare primitive solid Elm cupboard c1700. As you can see the cupboard has great colour and patina. This delightful small cupboard is made from solid thick pit sawn Elm planks of simple handmade Rosehead nail construction. The back is dry and crusty just as it should be. There are over sized hand forged strap hinges again applied with hand made nails. There is also a hand forged latch to keep the door shut. Internally there is an open space. A very rare and completely unique cupboard in great retail condition ready for any home or collection. The dimensions are approx 28 cm high 36 cm wide 20 cm deep.
