Late 19th.c. mahogany campaign hanging bookshelf c.1870. Four solid mahogany shelves supported on bobbin turned columns with brass pommels top and bottom and two brass hanging hooks. Originally designed to be fully demountable to pack away flat into an officer’s luggage, this set appears to have been pemanently fixed together. One replacement foot/lower pommel, otherwise very good condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
