Fabulous Campaign secretaire chest in solid Camphor wood. The top section consists of 1 long drawer and four smaller drawers, the central being the secretaire having a fitted interior and original green baize. One of the smallest drawer of this section also hides a secret compartment. A further two full length drawers to the base this chest provides substantial storage. Each drawer has hand cut dovetailed joints, brass bindings and retain the original brass flush mount pull handles and rests on beautifully turned feet. An extremely well made chest in excellent condition having a warm colour, wonderful graining with normal marks and scuffs commensurate with age and use but nothing which detracts from this very handsome chest.
