Cane Work Wine Cooler


Circa 1920. Rare cane work wine cooler likely by Morison or Whytock and Reid of Edinburgh. The top in intricate cane in a fine radial pattern, the lid with gadroon carved edges and acanthus carved corners, opening to an interior with brass locks and original metal liner. The front and sides with further elaborate conforming cane work in excellent condition and flanked by carved frame with ribbon decorations and extending down as out turned scrolled feet.
