We are delighted to offer for sale this super rare, highly collectable, original Mid Century Modern Circa 1960-1970 Cartier Paris Bronze & Brown Leather Writing table Desk

This desk is the largest of the range and it has the side drawer to the back, I have another two of these desks listed under my other items that are slightly smaller, they have the central drawers, these are the only time they will be listed for sale, finding one is pretty much a holy grail so finding three, I'm not sure what you would class that as
This desk is solid bronze with deep chocolate brown leather writing surface, it is very very heavy, it comes with the large rear drawer as mentioned that has some original Cartier books inside, the front of the desk is signed Cartier
I can't possibly emphasize enough just how special this desk is, it works in any setting and really elevates a space from being special to couture
Condition wise, it dates from the 1960-1970's, as such the bronze has a wonderfully aged patina, the top is similar, we have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, to my eyes and hands they it is period perfect

We have long term storage which is very economically priced, we are happy to hold stock for as long as needed providing it is arranged prior to the purchase.
If sold items aren’t collected within three months and no arrangements have been made for long term storage you will forfeit the item and payment.

COURIER (LARGE ITEMS ONLY THAT CAN’T BE POSTED)
We prefer collection on all items from Wimbledon SW19-3BE, If you have your own courier or wish to book the collection in yourself we are happy to accommodate you.

Delivery is to the ground floor only, again if you need help upstairs or in flats etc that's absolutely not a problem, the couriers charge £10 per flight per man per item, if you have a working elevator then naturally there’s no additional fee.
I’m happy to accommodate your own courier after a cleared payment has been received, they need to book in a collection time with at least 24 hours notice, all collections must be made within 7 working days of the close of the auction unless agreed by prior arrangement.
