Splendid late 19th.c. carved oak box settle or hall seat c.1880. With three delightful tavern scenes carved in high relief to the panels on the backrest. Lion form arms and base panels carved with renaissance masks and leaf detail. Plenty of useful storage below the lift-up seat. Loose seat cushion supplied. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
