A superior quality Victorian turned and carved cased aneroid barometer C.1885. The ring turned polished walnut surround with superior quality rolled over carved design. Visible skeletonised aneroid movement surrounded by a porcelain enamel dial. Sat behind bevel edge glass with central reading marker and set in a polished brass bezel. Fully overhauled, and presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine and original patina. Measures 10" diameter x 2" maximum depth. Stock number 35889.
