An early 20thc carved walnut bust of a young bacchante.

This piece is carved from one piece of wood, even the socle is carved.

The patina gives this piece the appearance of being bronze, although being made from wood.

This piece is quite difficult to date exactly & to state the exact origin, but I believe this is possibly French early 20thc from the style.
