Cased Victorian Maundy Money Set 1896

This lovely Maundy Money set dates from 1896. It is retained within its original red leather lined Spink & Son Ltd. case. The set consists of four sterling silver coins - a four penny, three penny, two penny and one penny piece.
Condition: Overall in good condition, with some storage wear. There is some wear to the edges in places - the four pence coin has a nick in the outer edge. The case has some scuffing, discolouration and wear, and some grubbiness. The lid does not quite sit flush with the base. There is a heavier scuff to the top of the box. There is some tarnishing to the metal fixings of the case. Further images are available. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any queries. Viewing is welcome, but please contact us before travelling as we are only open by appointment.
We can arrange delivery of both smaller items and furniture - please contact us for details and a quote. Customers are also welcome to use their own couriers if preferred.
Payment can be made by PayPal, bank transfer, cheque [UK only], and cash on collection.
