Caughley Porcelain Rare Locre Sprigs Egg Drainer


A fine and rare Caughley porcelain egg drainer with a moulded sprig shape handle and painted with the "locre sprigs" pattern. Unmarked, c.1788-1790.
Provenance: The Bayard Collection.
It measures 8cm (3 1/8") wide and 3cm (1 3/16") high to the handle.
In excellent condition with no damage, repair or restoration with minimal handling wear. There is a small underglaze chip inside the foot rim from manufacture. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
