An interesting Ceylonese (Sri Lankan) solid teak campaign Wellington chest with maker’s label for “ H. Don Carolis & Sons, established 1860 Cabinet Makers." This company was based in Keyzer Street, Pettah, Ceylon now Sri Lanka and is still in business today. Consisting of 3 long and 2 short drawers with a locking bar to each side and retaining the original brass cup handles. The whole raised on turned bun feet, with working locks & keys. Dimensions:- Height…39.5’’/ 100.5cm. Width…41.75’’/ 106cm. Depth…18’’/ 45.5cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £55.
