Here we have a fine quality traditionally hand made Ash and Elm Captains chair Made by Charles H Richard of Denton Norfolk c1992. We have had many antique versions of these chairs through our hands over the years and this chair is as fine a quality chair as we have ever seen. The woods have been carefully chosen to include a bit of burr in the Elm seat. The finest English Ash has also been used. The shaped arms are superb and the shaped Elm seat very comfortable. The legs are beautifully turned and joined by double H stretchers. A fantastic chair which is very comfortable. If it does not sell quickly it will become my new office chair.
