Here we have a wonderful Victorian Windsor Grandfather chair c1870. As you can see the chair has great colour and patina. There is a broad top rail with with turned spindles and side supports. There is a beautiful central splat of solid figured Elm. The seat is also a thick piece of saddle shaped Elm. There are well shaped arms and turned arm supports. The legs are also well turned with super baluster shapes. The legs are joined by a double H stretcher. A very comfortable period chair in excellent retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 113 cm high 62 cm wide 52 cm deep.
