Here we have a wonderful primitive George III Windsor Ash and Elm armchair c1800. As you can see the chair has great colour and patina. This particularly high backed chair has a hooped Ash top with spindles down to the bowed arms and spindles below. There is a lovely niave repair to the mid section which is solid and as you will appreciate should be left well alone. There is a wonderful thick Elm seat and well turned Ash legs joined by an H stretcher. A super period chair in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 123 cm high 67 cm wide 52 cm deep.
