We have for sale a rather striking Charles Horner silver brooch in the form of a cowboy.

This rather unusual and quite large brooch is very cleverly constructed to form a cowboy with a hat, a gilded neckerchief and a rope terminating in a gilded lasso. The brooch carries full English Hallmarks for Chester 1948.

The brooch is 6.5 cm high, 4cm wide and the hat is 2cm in diameter. The brooch weighs a heavy 15.38g and is in a very good condition with only the surface wear one would expect from 70 years of careful use.
