Charles II Chest of Drawers of Small Proportions

A rare, small, 17th Century oak chest of drawers with bolection moulded oak lined drawers.
Complete and original with a warm natural colour and good patina. Original feet with some wear and depletion but retaining a good height, three graduated drawers and open first phase carcase with original oak base and fielded back boards. The solid brass handles later (probably 19th Century) but of correct style and housed in the original holes.
Very heavy and robust, the drawers open smoothly and close properly, are capacious and constructed correctly for period.
No replacements, adaptations or later timbers other than the carcase runners which have been replaced as is entirely normal and right in a chest of the age.
A really good example in excellent original condition
