A lovely well proportioned 17thc, Charles II oak coffer. Front panels carved with diamond lozenges separated by bog oak and holly chevron banding surmounted by a carved lunette frieze.Plain top and side panels. Original split hinges and iron escutcheon.

Lovely colour, signs of old worm in the styles. Back styles are slightly reduced. Dry back and underside.

Approx. 44.25" wide x 24.75" high x 19.5" deep.
