Charming 19th Century French Chaise Longue or Day Bed

This delightful chaise dates from the late 19th Century and is also suitable for use as a Day bed

The bed is made in mahogany and stands on sturdy shaped legs, with strong carved stretchers
The bed retains its original linen upholstery and fringes, these are complemented with almost new cushions, upholstered in a lovely silk design fabric
The bed is good and sound condition, it has some old restoration but all good and sound, the old upholstery is a little shabby but sound
The overall size of the bed is 78”long and 27” wide, it is 29” high to the top of the back, and the seat is 20” high
