Chest of drawers rare George III engineers chest
Here we have a wonderful rare George III cabinet makers or engineers tool chest of drawers c1800. As you can see the chest has great colour and patina. The carcass is Pine with lovely colour and grain to the top and an ebonised finish to the sides. The chest retains the original working lock and key. There is a fall front to the top which opens to reveal an arrangement of six drawers with brass pulls. The drawers are beautifully made with Mahogany fronts, hand cut dovetail joints and faux cockbeaded edges. There are draw strings which slide the front upwards and reveal three futher deep Mahogany drawers and an integral plinth drawer. There is a sliding peice to hold the front up. A super period chest of drawers in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 30 inches high 16 deep and 33 wide.
