Here we have a stunning rare 18th century Seaman's chest c1790. As you can see this solid Camphor wood chest has great colour and patina. There is a single plank top with single plank base, sides and ends. The chest is constructed using thick dovetail joints and brass bands. The chest has retained the original decorative Becket handles which is unusual. A super period rare chest which would make a lovely small coffee table or end of bed chest in wonderful retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 100 cm wide 41 high and 42 deep.
