A most attractive and useful carved padouk Chinese desk. The detachable upper section has an arrangement of four drawers and a cupboard over a writing surface fitted with a frieze drawer. The pedestal fitted with two drawers on supports united by a platform stretcher. The whole piece is in fantastic original condition having been professionally cleaned, waxed and buffed to a high finish. There is a further small shelving section which can be inserted in the centre should it be required. Ht 115, W 81, D 56 cms. Frank Craig Antiques established 1972, with 50 years in the antique trade.
