Unusual Chinese low bowl. Yellow ground, famille verte on biscuit. Decorated in Chinese taste in the centre with a qilin- a mythical hooved chimerical creature- surrounded by meandering florals. 19th Century or earlier. Past repair to the edge using Japanese kintsugi.
