A very good quality Edwardian open bookcase in the Chippendale style. Made from a good grade of dense mahogany timber, now with a nice rich colour and patina. With a stylish "dished" top sitting over a carved blind fretwork freeze. There are 3 adjustable shelves giving ample storage/display space for books. The whole piece stands squarely on ogee bracket feet. We have had this charming bookcase sympathetically repolished to a very high standard and it is now offered for sale in excellent condition.
