German (Lubeck) 19th century. Stolle was a painter of Portraits and architectual views who studied with his father, the Lubeck painter and decorative artist Johann Wilhelm Stolle. Most of his paintings are still owned by his family although there are several drawings and watercolours by him which can be seen at the Museum in Lubeck.
