A fabulous French Art Deco silver plated cocktail shaker from the Gallia range by Christofle, Paris attributed to the designer, Luc Lanel.

Just back from our silversmith's workshop where it has been professionally cleaned and polished returning it to it's former glory.

Fully marked on the underside " Gallia " and the the "knight" chess figure in a square box between two letters "O" and "C" (which is the abbreviation of the two words "ORFÈVRERIE CHRISTOFLE").

Excellent condition dating to c.1940 it measures 3 3/4" and stands 9 1/4" tall.
