Circa 1800 Cast Iron Spanish Signal Cannon. Has a heavy, ring turned, cast barrel with slot in the cascabel for height adjustment. NB Adjuster no longer present. Substantial wrought iron carriage with cast iron wheels. Originally this would have been a port fire cannon but later converted to a percussion nipple fire cannon. Inscription on barrel states in Spanish 'Armory of Juan Girola San Nicolas'. In good condition with a nice patina.

Approximately sizes:-

- Barrell 35cm long and at maximum 10com wide with a bore diameter of 3.5cm.

- Carriage 55cm long by 32cm wide by 30cm high.
