This is a lovely 1920s Cloisonne, Brass and Alabaster Table Lamp. The lamp has a fine solid brass base, surmounted with a stepped alabaster plinth, topped with a brass foliate circlet, on which the cloisonne section rests. The cloisonne enamelling is in shades of blue, green, white and red. Above the slender stem, four embossed brass leaves clasp the alabaster fluted column, which is topped with a slender band of cloisonne, above which is brass foliate fluting.

The base has been matched with a shade in cream moire silk, with cream fringe overlaid with gold Venetian glass beading, the whole completed with cream braid. The shade has been made by the makers of the Downton Abbey TV series lampshades.

The lamp has been newly wired in gold fabric covered flex and comes complete with new plug and shade carrier. As with all electrical items it is recommended that it be checked by a qualified electrician before use.

Condition: Very good condition consistent with age. There is no damage to the cloisonne. The shade is new.
